Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz attended the preliminary investigation for the cases: child abuse and cybercrime complaint filed against against his baby momma Actress/Model Ellen Adarna, in connection with her "paparazzi" controversy in May whereas Ellen accused a minor, on social media, of taking photos of her at a ramen house without her permission.
Ellen failed to attend the first hearing last week, leaving the complainants to wait for hours. Reports said her father passed away due to cardiac arrest.
John Lloyd showed up with her counsel at the Pasig City Prosecutor's Office to face the child abuse and cybercrime cases filed by by Myra Abo Santos, the mother of the 17-year-old girl whose photo was uploaded by Adarna in her Instagram Stories after the actress did not respond to the family's request for a public apology.
