A Magna Cum Laude proves that poverty is not a barrier to reach his dreams. Jarel Barcelona posted his hardest battles in life to inspire others who have the same situation as him. He wants to motivate other students to strive further and continue reaching their dream.
At an early age, Jarel learned how to work in order to meet their needs. He worked as 'maid' or 'kasambahay' in order for him to continue his study.
Despite all criticisms he received, Jarel however still graduated as magna cum laude in Cagayan State University.
