When people got their freedom to choose who they wanted to be, it's most likely that they will choose to be someone who people respects and look up to but for some people, they prefer to be feared than to be loved.
Choosing to be feared people tend to join 'gangs' and climb up the ladder to earn some reputation as well as to bring trauma to innocent people's heart and minds.
Getting enough attention, these notorious gangsters have their own movies/drama. Here are some of the notorious gang members who gained enough reputation to be talked about up until now.
Marcial 'Baby Ama' Perez
Marcial Perez gained his nickname 'Baby Ama' because of his baby face look. He was born poor and found his way to jail after stealing. His good-looking face made him appealing to other prisoners which is why he was repeatedly sodomized in prison. But there was one incident that made Marcial popped when his pregnant wife was allegedly raped by a prison guard which lead her to commit suicide. This event made Baby Ama bring the worst inside of him and eventually became the feared leader of the 'Sige sige' gang.
The scariest thing he caused is a riot which resulted in a bloodbath in which 9 inmates were found dead and one of them was beheaded. He was sentenced to death by electrocution.
Ben 'Tumbling' Garcia
Ben Garcia earned his nickname 'tumbling' because of his tumbling stunts and acrobatic skills. According to reports he had a changed of heart when a policeman allegedly raped his wife.
He started to do drug dealings, robberies, and car-napping but even he did all those stuff many of the locals of his town loves him because he shared his profits with them.
Nicasio 'Asiong' Salonga
He is known to be friendly with the people of his hometown and called as their own 'Robinhood'. All of his crimes are decisions he made himself.
It is true that Nicasio lives in the area of Tondo but he became the No.1 Public Enemy there for causing a lot of gang-related violence and ruthless crimes which he always managed to get out of.
At the age of 26, he was shot by one of his rivals henchman named Carlos 'Totoy Golem' Capistrano.
