Moles most likely appear on your face, neck, arms, and legs but in some rare cases, moles can also appear beneath the nails, on the scalp, and the toes.
Some people may find moles cute, normal or natural but for some people, they find it ugly and wants to get rid of them. Luckily there are many home remedies out there that can help get rid of moles.
Home remedies for getting rid of moles
Baking soda and castor oil
With the use of baking soda, it can dry out the mole, while the castor oil helps with the healing process.
Procedure
Get 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and 2-3 drops of castor oil and a band-aid. Make a paste with baking soda and castor oil. Get some of the paste and apply it to the affected area. Cover the affected area with a band-aid and let it sit overnight.
Take note:
This homemade remedy can lead to inflammation of the skin but do not fret because the inflammation and redness will subside with time.
Banana peel
Banana peels consist of properties that can help remove moles, these properties are natural enzymes and acids, such as oxalic acid and ascorbic acid.
Procedure
Get a small part of the banana peel big enough to cover your mole. Place the piece of banana peel on the mole with the inside of the peel facing the mole. Secure it in place with the use of band-aid or scotch tape. Let it sit overnight.
Garlic
If you apply garlic paste unto your mole it can lead to scab formation making the mole fall off.
Procedure
Get one clove of garlic and crush it until you make a paste. Next is to apply the paste unto the mole and leave it on overnight, wrapped in a cotton cloth. Do this procedure several times a day for three weeks.
Take note:
You mustn't touch the scab with your hands.
