Prof. Ruben Madridejos is a Physics professor in PUP and he is often called the Albert Einstein of PUP.
Professor Ruben recently went viral after a student from the same university posted on Facebook on how the professor got discriminated inside a jeepney.

Nakasabay ko si Sir Madridejos sa jeep. Prof siya ng physics sa PUP. Graduate lang naman siya sa UP as cum laude and grumaduate lang naman sya ng MA sa Germany. Sa stopnshop siya sumakay and ayaw siya pasakayin sa jeep. Wala na daw upuan kahit meron naman talaga. Eh kung makatawag nga ng pasahero minsan isisiksik pa kahit wala na talagang upuan. Porket yung porma ni sir eh di pasok sa standard nila ng "kaya magbayad".
So ayon na nga may upuan pa sa tabi ko sabi ko "dito po may upuan pa" so umupo si sir. Siyempre nainis din siya sabi nya "senior ako ayaw nyo ako paupuin at pasakayin". Gusto ko nga siya tawaging prof para naman HELLO maging aware sila hahahhaha tapos sabi pa nung isang pasahero bakit daw pinaupo pa. Kuya do you even have a heart for old people???
Pababa na si sir nung nag bayad siya. Sabi ba naman nung driver "walang balak mag bayad yon wala namang pambayad". Yung ibang pasahero naman nag agree.
The point is matanda na nga si sir. Ayaw paupuin at pasakayin porket di pasok sa standards niyo yung itsura sana man lang kinonsider ung age ni sir. Kung tutuusin kaya niya kayong kainin ng buhay pero hindi niya ginawa. Hahahahaha!

Apparently, the professor tried to ride a jeepney but got criticized because of his unusual look. Sir Ruben has this long hair and beard which is a style that is rarely seen in University professors.
But everyone was gobsmacked when they learned more about Professor Madridejos achievements. Inside an article that was published by John Paul Besagas (a journalist of PUP), we learned that Prof. Ruben Merdridejos is an alumnus of UP-Diliman (University of the Philipines Diliman).
In the year 1973, Mr. Ruben Madridejos took Bachelor of Science in Physics and he graduated as Cum Laude. In the year 1985, Sir Ruben went to Berlin, Germany and took up his Master of Science in Geophysics and after he achieved his Master's degree he returned to the Philippines and applied at Polytechnic University of the Philippines as an Instructor.
After the post went viral many of his students couldn't just sit by and do nothing about the matter at hand. Many of them commented how great Prof. Ruben is and told the people in social media that he is one of a kind and some even said that he is the sole reason why many of them love Physics so much.
