Some commuters are expressing their frustrations and disappointments on the social media towards the abusive of several taxi drivers and Jeepney drivers.
Recently, a Facebook user named "@mayalayug(Mae Layug) has posted the screenshot conversation with a Grab driver.
In her post, it can be seen how the driver asking her to double the fare due to heavy traffic in the area.
The Grab driver also added that it's a loss if they'll only follow Grab's base fare.
"goodmorning mam. ok lang po ba x2 po fare natin. traffc na po kasi ngayon mam."
"talo po pag base fare lang ng grab..."
The netizen called the attention of "GrabPH" and asked the ride-hailing service company if they are aware that their drivers are having a transaction like this.
The official page of Grab Philippines has also responded to her complaints and assured that they do not tolerate this kind of behavior and promised to punish abusive drivers.
