This post about a good samaritan that was caught helping a visually disabled man is now making rounds on the social media. According to Nathan Perez's Facebook post, he spotted Ricky Tusara, an employee of a well-known hypermarket accompanying a blind man cross to the UV terminal on the other side of the Centris building.
The post spread around social media and even caught the attention of ABS-CBN News. According to the interview, Ricky said,
“kasi nakita ko po yung tao po na yun in a hurry po talaga. As well as may dala pa siyang gatas para sa anak niya... hindi na po ako nag-alinlangan na tulungan siya papunta sa terminal.”
The said man was a therapist named, Dickie Arandia. According to him, people like Ricky is a great help for him.
“Napapabilis yung pagpunta ko sa terminal, nakakasakay po agad ako... Iniisip ko po na ito yung blessing sa akin ni Lord na tao para tumulong sa akin ngayong araw na ‘to.”, Dickie said.
Nathan Perez uploaded a photo on Facebook and captioned it:
"Just when you thought that this world is in a great mess, you encounter good hearts. An employee of SM Hypermarket carefully accompanying a blind man to the UV terminal on the other side of the Centris building. #Malasakit"
