The whole world fell in love with South Korea. From housewives to working adults to youths, it's hard to find someone who hasn’t been exposed to some form of K-Export these days. The media named the sudden boom of Korean pop culture the K-Wave – also known as Hallyu (which means “flow of Korea”) The Korean Wave (Hallyu) refers to the global popularity of South Korea’s cultural economy exporting pop culture, entertainment, music, TV dramas, and movies.

But what’s puzzling about this phenomenon is that, despite being in a foreign language and culture altogether, it has managed to captivate a wide audience outside of Korea.

A video was uploaded on MeikCJ youtube channel owned by a vlogger named Mei conduct a social experiment with her friend titled "Falling asleep on stranger's shoulder in Korea's subway".

What appeal to the audience is how incredibly sweet some of the Korean Men in the said video.

Mei is a Latina currently living in South Korea. She creates a lot of videos discussing their cultures such as how it's like to live with a Korean mom, interesting facts about Korean school, the different practices between America and South Korea and many more.
